An Odd Story, Smudge Bundle

A slightly different scent. An Odd Story is made from copal, the resin of a sacred incense tree, responsibly sourced. Unlike white sage, copal gives off a light, woody scent reminiscent of pine wood.
Its smoke is traditionally used to clear spaces of negative energy, invite positive change and calm body and mind, a gentle companion in restless moments.
How to smudge
First set an intention and express gratitude. Open a window so stagnant energy can leave. Light the bundle, let the flame burn for about 20 seconds, then gently blow it out so the smoke rises from the ember. Move the smoke through the room, into the corners and over objects and yourself for about 30 seconds. Afterwards, place the bundle in a ceramic bowl or fireproof vessel. Never extinguish it with water, as this can damage the bundle.
