This workshop combines intuitive design with symbolic inspiration, inviting you to create a small personal everyday companion through creative work.
Together, we will delve into the world of macramé, symbolism, and intuitive creativity. To begin, each participant will draw a symbolic card whose message, mood, or imagery will serve as inspiration for their own creation. Afterward, a personalized key chain or bracelet will be created using various knotting techniques: a small, handmade object full of meaning, intuition, and expressiveness.
With colors, textures, knots, and loving details, each creation becomes an individual little amulet that not only looks beautiful but also carries a personal story. The workshop invites you to consciously slow down, connect with your own creativity, and allow intuition to become visible and tangible through working with your hands.
In an open and relaxed atmosphere, the focus is not on perfection, but on playful discovery, intuitive design, and the joy of the creative process.
No prior knowledge is required; just curiosity, openness, and a desire for creative expression.

About Chiara
Chiara is the founder of Fix & Stitch, a Zurich-based slow-craft studio that explores handmade creation as a form of intuition, self-expression, and connection.
Using techniques such as crocheting, knot art, and working with tactile materials, she transforms traditional crafts into creative experiences that invite conscious slowing down and intentional design. Inspired by the emotional significance that objects can carry, she creates works that are more than just everyday items – small personal symbols, made to be worn, used, and kept close.
In her workshops, Chiara creates spaces for intuitive and playful creative work, where colors, textures, and gestures can become part of a personal story. Her work is characterized by gentleness, a joy of experimentation, and the conviction that creative work with one's hands can also be a quiet moment of reflection and transformation.
