November has this subtle inner voice: "Take it a little slower today." It's getting dark earlier, we're spending more time indoors, and of course, right now Mercury decides to go retrograde. When Mercury is retrograde, it seems as if the planet is taking a step back in the sky, and that's exactly how it feels on Earth: communication, technology, and processes need to be reviewed, slowed down, and reorganized. This doesn't mean everything will fall apart, but rather: "Hey, double-check. Be more precise. Save your information. Call that person back." This week is less about grand entrances and more about small adjustments. Less outward focus, more inward. Less drama, more balance.
What happens from November 9th onwards?
On November 9th, Mercury will first go retrograde in Sagittarius. Sagittarius loves grand visions, opinions, travel, and learning, and embodies the attitude: "I'll just say it." When Mercury goes retrograde there, these very areas become a bit more shaky. Messages might be misunderstood, emails might end up in the wrong folder, trips might require a buffer, and statements that were perfectly clear in your head might suddenly sound different when spoken aloud. Later in Mercury's retrograde period, Mercury will move back into Scorpio. This will make the topics more personal and profound. Suddenly, the focus will shift to what has remained unspoken until now. To: "I've actually wanted to tell you this for a long time." This phase is precisely for that purpose, not for punishment, but for taking a slower look at things. In short: This week isn't the time to start five new projects, but it's an excellent week to pick up old threads, clarify agreements, and double-check your technical systems.
Our weekly compass is the Temperance map.
To avoid sounding like "just be careful!", the Tarot card Temperance is added. On the card, you see a figure calmly pouring water from one chalice to another. Not hastily, not all at once, but deliberately. One foot is in the water (feeling), the other on land (reality). This is precisely the attitude that will help us now.

What does the card say? - I combine clarity with patience.
- Take your time before you reply.
- Consider two perspectives: yours and the other person's.
- Don't look for the extreme, but rather the point where it makes sense.
And now, let's be honest: That's exactly what happened to me this week. Technology did what it wanted. I experienced it firsthand: I set three (really three!) alarms, just to be safe and with the thought, "This time, I'm really going to do it." And I woke up three hours late. I hadn't heard the alarm, had no reminders, nothing. Just a deep November sleep. The result: I was late for work and had that "how do I explain this?" feeling. That's exactly what Mercury retrograde means in everyday language. Things that usually work start to stumble. Messages disappear. Devices malfunction. Our timing isn't as good as usual. But what I learned from my experience is: I mustn't take it personally, and sometimes that's just how it is. The important thing is to keep your sense of humor, be honest, and try to make the best of your day anyway.
This week's dos and don'ts:
+ take things a little slower
+ short, clear messages and communication
+ Confirm receipt of messages
+ ask questions if anything is unclear
- Do not send impulsive messages
- Do not discuss sensitive topics at night or when stressed
- Don't pack ten different points into one message

Because we'll be spending more time at home again in November, and the light will be beautifully soft, we're turning this slow week into a little story week. The idea is to take three pictures:
1. What I finish: A half-finished candle, an unsorted pile of papers, or an unfinished DIY project.
2. What I'm keeping: The journal, my favorite street, a piece of furniture, the aura spray.
3. What I will do in 48 hours: Attend a MOONHUB event , add a calendar entry, or travel to a destination.
Events at MOONHUB that are perfect for right now:
Evening Meditation & Journaling – Perfect for processing and reflecting on everything that's happened this week. Here you'll explore questions like: What went wrong this week? What was good? What still needs to be said? We'll meditate together, write, and set a small intention for the rest of the month. Exactly what Mercury retrograde means: becoming more aware.
Sound Bath with Crystal Singing Bowls - If communication, technology, and timing have thrown you off balance this week, it's time for a reset. Lie down, let go, and listen. The clear tones will help you find your center again.

Small companions from our shop :
A Dream Catcher Incense Bundle - When technology is acting up, appointments keep getting rescheduled, and your mind is too full, sometimes it helps to simply cleanse the energy in the room. This incense bundle with sage, rosemary, and lavender clarifies the air, dispels the "digital noise," and brings in that calm, clean scent that says: Here, things can be light again. Perfect before journaling, a call, or creating a three-picture story. Light it briefly, wave it gently, and inhale deeply.
Ceramic incense holder - A handcrafted holder from Ticino perfectly complements your incense bundle. It enhances your little ritual and can be placed next to your journal or candle , instantly creating a peaceful corner where you can reflect on your day.

This week isn't about slowing you down, it's about refining you. Two decisive steps are better than ten half-measures. Take it easy this week, back up your messages, speak as clearly and concisely as possible, review your thoughts in a three-picture story, and treat yourself to a relaxing evening. Slow down. Mercury may be retrograde, but you're still moving forward.
Love & Magic, your MOONHUB Team!
